Field Time Week 15

“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11

The Lord has blessed me incredibly, especially with the people He has placed in my life. My mind is blown every time I look at my team here. There are 18 people living in this house and we could be anywhere in the world right now, but God has called us here for a reason and purpose. Ages ranging from 2 to 42 years old with so many different backgrounds and testimonies. It has been beautiful seeing God’s hand in all of our lives. Living in a community like this where we are all seeking the Lord is such a comfort knowing that I have the support of so many and people around to challenge me. There are days though where living so close can become hard and frustrating, but so easily resolved when we are open and honest with one another. Being away from home gets hard at times, but it’s a family here and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Living together physically is a lot easier than living together spiritually. And that is what God is calling us to do. Living in unity and as a body, not just tolerating one another hoping not to kill each other. Conflict comes and the enemy loves when we build up anger and not fix the issues in our hearts and in the home. We are called to do more than just live with each other, but to encourage and build each other up. I don’t want to go home and not know where my team was spiritually. I want to know the hearts of my team not just their faces. I want to go deeper with everyone on this team. I am so thankful for each and every person in this house and I could honestly say that I wouldn’t be who I am today with out each of them. My application is to spend time with someone this week that I am not the closet to and have deeper conversations.
